Artwork - Drawing Marilyn

I finally took on the difficult task of drawing Marilyn Monroe. Also, I wanted
to see where my skills were at the time (2008).
This is the drawing set off the fire in me to start drawing more,
unfortunately it wouldn't be until late October of 2008.
That I would pick up a pencil again.
Because after this drawing I went digital.

Drawn in 2008. Used Scarlett Johansson picture for reference.

Artwork - I Want To Be Traded

The year Kobe Bryant wanted to be traded to another NBA team. The year LeBron James took the Cavaliers to the Finals, I know what the hell happened. The year I moved to the 10,000 lakes, state of Minnesota. The year that has forever changed me and that I will never forget. Also the year that I had little or no interest in art. These are the drawings that surged from 2007.

Bellflower, my hometown for a very long long time. I think it's about time for a change.

Mike Giant Inspired

When I discovered Mike Giant's art, the first thing I had to do was to buy something from him either a shirt, a poster or a book. Not in any particular order I bought all three. I loved the poster "California Dreamin" so much I had to take a picture of myself with it. I just love how he delicately draws his lines from thick to thin. As an artist I like to study an artist style and how they make their artwork. So I tried my best and did my take on Mike Giant's unbelievable insanely awesome artwork. This was a great way to practice on inking and drawing lines from thick to thin.
